Kids electric scooter age and speed chart
Kids electric scooters are rated by age and speed: about 5 mph for ages 3 to 5, 6 to 10 mph at 6 to 7, about 10 mph at 8 to 9, 10 to 12.5 mph at 10 to 12, and the 15.5 mph teen class from 13. Many states set 16 as the minimum age for public roads.
